About the Pomeranian

Temperament

Pomeranians are lively, curious and devoted to their families. They are intelligent and eager to please, which makes them quick to learn tricks and house routines. Despite their small size they are alert little watchdogs, and they thrive on attention and gentle play.

Size & lifespan

Adult Pomeranians typically weigh 1.5–3.5 kg and stand 18–24 cm tall. Teacup Pomeranians sit at the smaller end of that range. With good care they enjoy a long life expectancy of 12–16 years.

Care & feeding

That signature fluffy coat needs brushing two to three times a week to stay free of mats, with a professional groom every few months. Keep up with dental care, and feed a high-quality small-breed diet split into several small meals a day to support their fast metabolism.

What influences the price

Pomeranian prices vary with size, coat colour, pedigree and the quality of the parent lines. The smallest teacup sizes and rare colours such as merle or party command higher prices. Every Tiny Treasures Pomeranian is vet-checked, vaccinated and microchipped, and comes with our health guarantee.

Frequently asked questions

How big does a teacup Pomeranian get?

Adult teacup Pomeranians usually weigh between 1.5 and 2.5 kg. Final size depends on the parents — we can give you a realistic estimate for each puppy.

Are Pomeranians good with children and other pets?

Yes, when socialised early. Our puppies are raised in a home environment. Because they are small, we recommend gentle supervision around very young children.

How much grooming does a Pomeranian need?

Brush two to three times a week and book a professional groom every few months. Regular grooming keeps the double coat healthy and mat-free.

Do Pomeranians bark a lot?

They are alert and will announce visitors, but with consistent, positive training their barking is easily managed.
