Size & lifespan
Adult Maltese typically weigh 2–4 kg and stand 20–25 cm tall. They are a true toy breed with a long life expectancy of 12–15 years.
Care & feeding
The pure-white silky coat needs daily brushing to prevent tangles, or a shorter 'puppy cut' for easier upkeep. Clean around the eyes regularly to avoid tear staining, and maintain dental hygiene and a quality small-breed diet.
